How do Men spell Love? T.I.M.E

Trust, Integrity, Mentality, Energy.

A Barbershop traditionally is a place where men go to cut, dress, groom, style and shave men's and boy's hair. Outside of the occupational scope, Barber shops are also a great place for social interaction and public discourse. Also, public forums. The Modern Barbershop is crucial for influencing open debates, voicing public concerns and engaging citizens in discussions about contemporary issues . Where I feel most dedicated to this lifestyle, is to help reshape the identity of MEN. All we need is T.I.M.E!

TRUST - "firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something". Since the beginning of time, men have been gatherers, hunters and protectors of the home. It was a Man's responsibility to carry out these tasks while the woman farmed, fed and nurtured the home. At some point, Trust was broken! This is a chicken and egg scenario. What came first, did the man abuse his role or did the woman abuse hers; who let the serpent in? Somehow this has not improved, it has only worsened. I believe the only way we can truly love is to truly trust and to trust; we need more integrity.

INTEGRITY - the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness:"he is known to be a man of integrity". This is a crucial point - we need to start to teach this to our children, not by what we say; but by demonstration. We must start asking ourselves before we make every decision. would I want my family to know? Would I want the authorities know? would I want this published in the media? if you answer "no" to any of these questions - Don't proceed.

MENTALITY - "the characteristic attitude of mind or way of thinking of a person or group" We are Men, start acting like it! We have to live our lives the way we want to live them or the way we want to see our children live. We have to stop blaming other people for our mistakes and start taking accountability for every aspect of our life. We need to start working together as a team and practicing positivity. Leap frog off each other by boosting each other up, rather than stepping on each other to get ahead. We are all in the same race and we all have to finish the race to win, together.

ENERGY - "the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity". We must take the time to be healthy and strong. Not just for ourselves, but for the ones we love. This is the last piece that we are missing. without energy, there is no action. We become Idle, we become deadly. It takes a lot of Energy to Love, not just yourself; but everyone you choose to gather, hunt and protect for.

If we start making time for ourselves, we will find the energy needed to accomplish the things we truly love. This can only be done by reinforcing each other and changing how we see ourself. Take a step back and ask yourself - Why am I doing this? Who am I doing this for? where do I intend to finish? I always try to demonstrate and explain to the ones I love - "Junk in, Junk out". You get back what you put in, but you never get back what you expect; you get what you deserve. If you trust yourself, you can and will learn to trust others. It starts with "YOU".
